Gilda Ruta, le due vite di una musicista napoletana

Gilda Ruta was a Neapolitan composer, pianist and concert performer acclaimed throughout Italy. A woman with a dominant and seductive personality, muse of various intellectuals, she soon discovered herself unsuitable for a social context that limited her independence and mortified her feminine dignity. In 1894 he therefore landed in New York, the city in which he found the answers to his restless artistic and existential aspirations.
